Yeah I’ve done that, well when I record it puts the tracks in there anyway, but I can hear them from the bluebox, only if I remove the SD card and listen via the computer.
Are you playing the tracks f om the beginning? Touch one of the bars to set the startpoint and then press play.
Have you un-armed the record tracks before play back?
Yep volume scaling for midi controllers has been requested multiple times - the betas that have come out over last year or so have mainly been bug fixes, and feature requests by bluebox users have been largely ignored as other products have been prioritised.
Such a shame as I find the blue box is brilliant with something like a novation launch control, but you can only really use a third of the fader.

I’m really hoping we’ll get a new major version with a bunch of these kind of quality of life fixes, even if they don’t go all out with e.g. per-channel compressors and some of the other major new requests.

Does/Can the Bluebox amplifies the audio from a external source?

Yes, to a certain extent. You can work with the gain quite a lot. But it won’t replace a preamp, if that’s what you need.

I want to use it with a Oxi Coral and a Fred’s Lab Töörö. Don’t know if that is possible?

Töörö is like any synth, right? So that should work no problem. Oxi Coral, not sure what that is so can’t say. But if it’s something with line outputs, it should work

Looking for some 3.5mm stereo to 2 3.5mm mono cables/adapters that will fit in the Bluebox. (The 3.5mm stereo connector will be connected to the Bluebox?

Does anyone know of a good mini TRS (male) to standard (6.35mm/1/4") TS (female) that work well with the Bluebox? Something like this: 3.5 mm TRS to Dual 1/4 in TSF - Stereo Breakout | Hosa Cables — but with a skinnier mini TRS connector? I’m hoping to reuse some of my longer instrument cables, but it’s starting to become hard to fit all the connectors together on the mini TRS side.
It would be really cool if there was just like a big mini TRS snake thing that would just connect all at once to the Bluebox. I haven’t found anything like that either
If I have some sources coming into 4 tracks of the BlueBox and I only want to record the Master (fader/mix), is it right that I can’t hear it back on the BlueBox itself but it stores it onto the SD card?
So if I want to record a bunch of jams over the weekend but don’t need the individual tracks recording, I can just keep recording from 0.00 each time?
Yep, they’ll record incrementally onto the sd card, adding a new number each time. You can load the .wav file onto an empty track to listen back if you like.

Yep it kinda “just works” as a recorder in this way, but also you have close to zero discoverability as user, so very little clue to the results of the recording and a pretty convoluted way to listen to the output. Overall when it comes to recording the UX is MVP status
