I’m really happy with my Elektron MonoMachine. Learning new features all the time. Elektron has become part of my Favorite Gear.
This is my 2nd Video i created on the MonoMachine with a Companion the Roland SH-32 for some Synth Leads and Sounds effects…
Enjoy…
VERY cool! The Roland SH-32 is highly underrated and is only pc of Roland kit I own in my large all hardware synth set-up. The ARP is pretty amazing and it has all the digital samples of best of Roland TR Drum machines. Highly recommended.
Thanks for sharing this as it has made me dive back into the SH-32 for some experimentation. The pads/strings are also amazing on it. Lush!
Heyy, thanks…you brought a smile to my face this morning…
i always heard about the SH-32…Never bought one…for years i seen it on ebay…but then when the Korg Radias came out and Virus i just didn’t pay the 32 no mind but in the back of my head i knew there was something special about it,so i finally broke down and got one…Let me tell you,i really like it a lot…i heard bad reviews and i must say, I’m not experiencing any of those Negative Feelings about it. i love the fact that i can put Delay and control the amount of Delay on all 4 channels when using in Multi Mode…i can tweak and save Immed…Sounds are Rich and thick…Has Pulse Code Modulating…The Sub Osc really makes it shine and its light and small…i sold the MoPho which i do kinda regret but i had MoPho Desktop Module for a few years and needed something with a little more Versatility. The SH-32 isn’t completely Analog but i ain’t complaining…lol…i’m glad you liked that video…This may be a Keeper for a while…

Quite welcome! What I like about the SH32 is it IS small and you have those wonderful ‘keyboard key buttons’ so even if just adding some lush ambience strings in a composition, an additional controller is not needed. I m not sure if the great ARP outputs midi to other synths though.
The only negative I can honestly say regarding the SH32 is I am not fond of the electrical connector configuration on the back. I can deal with wall warts, as you well know, a lot of great synths have them, with my Waldorf Microwave XT having one so large it’s like a snake swallowed my studio cat or something. LOL!
Your demo put a smile on my face this morning, perhaps to the chagrin of neighboring townhouse…LOL!
