Hi! Anyone can tell me the best way to make 32nd notes on a track on every first step of every page of a 64 steps pattern ? Thanks
I mean, not with retrig, cause I want 3 (…32nd) different notes…
Any idea?
You could use the arp, but then you’ll be stuck with only that note division.
Only other way I can think of would be midi in, but obviously using the sequencer would be better.
Double tempo and 2 patterns chained.
Ok, seems the better option is arp, the melody it’s always similar… I could double tempo and chain, but tempo master is octatrack with lots of things inside…
Thanks !
Don’t double the master tempo, but use the tempo multiplier in A4:
-Press “function” + “Scale”
-Don’t change the number of steps, but change the “1x” to “2x”.
Now the sequencer of A4 runs on 32nd note per step in stead of the default 16th.
In other words: A4 's sequencer now runs twice as fast for this pattern while the master clock stays constant.
Can I do that for just one track or it affects the other ones? …I have already other tracks and sounds played by the sequencer…
I’ll see if it is not so difficult to rework the others tracks…if this is the only solution.
Microtiming?
Use an OT channel to send arpeggiated notes to your track.
That shit’s the best
