Does adding song mode also mean they fixed the pattern change bug regarding different pattern lengths/mulitpliers?

No it doesn’t (didn’t?)
The Ch.Len was not working when the track length were different and M.Len put higher than 16.
It’s not intended behavior, it’s a bug.
