When I sequence the nord g2 with the digitakt the octave range changes when I change it on the front of the nord mod. Shouldn’t it just play the notes it’s fed? Also when I change the patch slot, rather than being multitimbral it’ll start playing the other patch. Anyone have some midi set up advice?
You should probably read your G2 manual about slots, performances and midi.
The keyboard transpose is weird on the front end. But again that’s more on the G2 end.
Thank you. Glad it’s not something simple I’m overlooking. I should probably start reading my gear manuals.

Sometimes you get pleasantly surprised. (But the transpose thing is just uncommon.)
Lucky person, owning a G2 and a DT… I used to own a G2, and I thought each slot could be assigned its own channel? Possibly set in the editor, But, then again, haven’t had a NM for 10 years…Will always regret that one. Good luck!
Sure it can. From the editor or the system menu on the synth itself.
There is a global channel and midi channels per slot. But the manual does a better job of explaining than I do.
