Hi guys,
For the records in internet, here is an idea that would be very popular and useful for musicians using the Ableton Push.
A website were you would put a chord progression, and it would show the patterns to use in Push to play them.
You first read it here.

Isn’t that just Melodics?

Actually you learn finger drumming with Melodics, the music is pre-composed.
You don’t dig into the music theory.
Think of a tablature notation for the Push.

Then I suppose instead of just hoping for a website, load midi files into Ableton and the lights will illuminate in note mode

Yes well that’s a nice turnaround.
Actually what I do now is that I do the maths. I pick the scale and figure out the chords.
Some extra steps that we can avoid to stay in the flow.
If you keep the Push in chromatic scale mode, your chord shapes will be the same no matter what key you are in. It also lets you play notes out of scale, which is essential for some kinds of music. Blues for example.
