On my analogue keys when a new note takes a previously used voice the new note comes on with what seems like zero attack and doesn’t fit with the long attack / release ambient sound I’m trying to achieve. Is there a setting that enables a smoother voice transitionso that new notes come in with a longer attack?
A dot to the left of the visual representation of the envelope indicates that the envelope will restart from level zero each time it is trigged. Envelope shapes without a dot mean the envelope will start from the level it had when being trigged.
So use a dotted envelope form if you don’t want the attack phase to be skipped in parts or totally. If it will sound smoother depends completely on the type of sound. Voice stealing is always somewhat interruptive.
