Akai Mpc live 2nd hand price

Can’t believe how much people are paying for mpc live at the moment. It is the time to sell

People on GS are convinced a MPC live MK2 will be released soon!

I think it will then the price of the mk1 will crash. They have gone from £700 to about £950 second hand in the last few weeks.

I reckon its a massive bubble. I expected gear prices to go down with the current climate but some electronics have shot up, like nintendo switches. I really do reckon the bubble will burst shortly down the line as more people lose their jobs and need money.

just looked and theyre consistently selling for a grand on ebay, definitely time to flip. jeezus. mk2 literally around the corner, lot of people are gonna be pissed!

I just realised there’s a bunch of people out there that dont read online forums :joy:
So im guessing these guys see their are no MPC lives on sale in the stores and jumping on ebay to buy one, not knowing an update is on the way!

Yeah. Definitely people will end up buying one the a few months down the line will be gutted

…apart from single outs and batterypower option, the mpc one is soooo much more a truu mpc again…way more than the live will ever be…

and so i expected second hand prices for the live would drop drasticly since the one is now available…

hmmm…i mean, coming from old mpc’s, i was shocked how quirky around the all corners at once and once again the workflow on the live is happening to be…

while mpc one has finally all the attributes of old school workflow back in dedicated buttons…
and ur not forced to touch touch touch through screen menus anymore to get anywhere with it…

so forget about the live…if mpc now…than mpc one…

Not the case in the US

Still $700-$850 being paid here.

Unless you’re just looking at what people are “asking” to be paid, which is not the same as what people are paying (show sold listings only, sort by recent)

Last few listings in United kingdom have hit between £880 and £1049 for 2nd hand. Overpriced as mpc x is only another £100 2nd hand. The world’s gone mad😁

Is that what they’re listing for or what the final price paid was?

Surely they include user installed SSD/HDDs at those rates, yea?

There have been some silly asks on 2500s recently too, eBay huh

now just imagine everything in AUD

Yeah. Most include a ssd but still crazy price. There is one at the moment on £900 with 3 days to go

I just sold one of my Lives with fat pads locally for $760 on Craigslist within a day of posting. I’d still pay a $1K though for a new or minty unit, and for the additional i/o I’d still get it over a One.

I sold mine on eBay. Paid £650 sold it for over £1000, I reckon in 2 months I could buy one back for £500. Price is daft now

There is a post on a ebay like site here in Japan that has been trying to sell an MPC Live for around ¥420,000 (around $4,000).

I check in on it from time to time to remind myself that I should have kept mine
