All this gear and an M:C, help me!

Hi, first post but been here lots

I have an M:C. Piano and guitar for 40 years, gulp. I have all this gear now and want to connect it best. I don’t mind selling to buy something which will work better/need fewer bits.

This email is from trying to work out how best to connect M:C to iPhone 7 (lightning). Searched here and read, looks like there’s many ways with different pro/cons. So thought I’d ask you.

Kit:
M:C and all its connectors
iPhone 7 (want to run software apps (soft synths; that new programme just released by ?Beatstep) on and use with M:C
Akai MPK mini (USB out only)
Nord stage (every out and I’ve managed to connect it with M:C 3.5mm-midi-midi)
Kenton USB MIDI hub (just got for MPK mini to M:C). Works well buuuuuut hardly the portable solution I had hoped for (both Kenton and M:C need power, and there’s a lot of leads involved)
Lightning to 3.5mm adaptor I use to connect my headphones to my iPhone for walking around listening to spotify)

Ideally I would be able to connect M:C to iPhone for control of software, and MPK to M:C with fewer cables.

I never write long posts. But there you go

Thanks!

Drambo. That’s the iPhone app I’mhoping to use with M:C and with Nord stage
