i have on both same bug on Digitakt and Digitone and other bugs.
And think this bug are with **Overbridge 2.0.47 to do?
Transpose bug - when transpose mode is locked, playing the upper C on the build-in keyboard also moves the keyboard up one octave.
Itās not a bug, it has always been there.
You might ask an option to disable this as a feature requestā¦
Iām new to A4, so Iām not surprised this has been always like this. I searched through the manual though and didnāt find any mention of this being intentional. I consider it undesirable, donāt you?
Thing is, I have approached most of my Elektron machines with a candid spirit, as I was really discovering electronic music machines and they were for a large part very well conceived.
So I learned how they behaved, and played with this, without questioning it.
Now that youāre talking about this, I can see that it could be unwanted indeed.
I thought it was cool to switch octaves quickly but it only works for octaves up, and only on C, so youāre right I believe, this needs to be questioned. And maybe documented in the meantime, right @eangman?
Hmm I must confess I didnāt even know about this myself. I guess that says something about the Elektron machines (or me) I will look into it. Thanks for bringing it up.
Press Transpose + Track to activate/deactivate key activated transpose, when locked mode is on. Maybe

Can someone check parameter slides on oscillators pulsewidth?
Cause it doesnt work as expected hereā¦
works here on 1.51
With firmware 1.51 my AK takes 7 seconds for a moved knobās temporary numeric display to return to its name again. Way too long!
In comparison my DT (1.21) takes 4 seconds to return to the name after moving the knob.
Could this be a bug thatās crept in @patrik? Donāt remember seeing it in 1.50A.
Iād prefer a shorter time of 3 seconds tbh
Cheers
Hi! I just got a used A4 MK2. Got it for a pretty good price because the CV part is not working (he turned it off while updatingā¦ ouch)
Iāve noticed a weird bug - or at least I think it is:
This happens ONLY on Track 3.
Sometimes it takes two (maybe even three) presses to mute/unmute that track - and if I stay on that track, then it works as expected.
Upon testing, it does seem like this bug comes back once you move to other tracks and play around with parameters.
I also did a hardware test and both FUNC and T3 seem to work every timeā¦ anyone else having this problem?
Very weird bug.
Were I you, I would contact Elektron support.
Ticket submitted.
Hereās a short video showing the behaviour in question:
Whatās somewhat weird to me is that the presses seem to register every time when in test modeā¦
Update: I ended up noticing that the same thing happens, randomly, with many other buttons - so Iām returning it to the seller. Tried updating the OS, doing a factory reset, using a different power supplyā¦ still the same. My guess is some kind of electrical issue - sometimes it lags a button press, other times it doesnāt even register (I think I counted SEVEN presses on OSC2 button).
Yeah thatās weird Iāve never seen that on mine.
Is anyone else experiencing and endless MIDI loop with the āAll sound offā command under 1.51? Whenever I am recording into Ableton Live, I will inevitably get this to occur until I disarm all the MIDI tracks associated with the Analog Keys
What Iām trying to do:
I want to use the Keys with an external sequencer, like Ableton Live. I have tracks 1-4 on the Keys sending on channels 5-8, respectively.
MIDI CONFIG > PORT CONFIG > OUTPUT CH = Trk Ch
MIDI CONFIG > PORT CONFIG > PARAM OUTPUT = CC
MIDI CONFIG > PORT CONFIG > RECEIVE NOTES = True
MIDI CONFIG > PORT CONFIG > RECEIVE CC/NPRN = True
MIDI CONFIG > MIDI Channels =>
Track 1 = 5
Track 2 = 6
Track 3 = 7
Track 4 = 8
FX = Off
CV = Off
Perf = 3
Auto = 3
I have a project in Ableton with Overbridge enabled and 4 midi tracks for each of the tracks on the Keys, like so
What Iām experiencing:
While recording a performance into Ableton I get endless MIDI activity after I press the stop button on the Keys. MIDI Monitor shows exactly what is happening
Anybody else experiencing this?
