Just need to say that the A4 is absolutely gorgeous. Nothing much else to add beyond that. I get down with raw, heavy and dirty, but I’m mostly a soundscape freak. A4 is delivering in spades.
Anybody on the fence, grab the MK1’s while the bargains exist. For realz

I’m definitely it (AKeys) rewards time invested in learning it. For example, after c.1yr of ownership, I’ve only now started experimenting with the different envelope shapes. It makes a huge difference, especially for percussion sounds!
I’ve personally found, contra to what the presets suggested and its reputation, that what I get out of it most easily is very nice, very vintage poly-synth sounds. Much more of a 70s than an 80s type of keyboard patch.
