Analog Heat MK 2 with Ableton not work

Hello everybody!

It’s about the Analog Heat MK2. I use it among other things as a sound card with Ableton. Unfortunately, this is a torture because the sound often cuts out and a strange crack can be heard and if it is really bad, the sound card simply cuts out and everything has to be restarted.
I did not load Overbridge as a VST but only assigned the heat in Ableton. Every now and then the heat freezes. The latest update is installed. Maybe someone here knows what that could be?

Greetings, Rob

Which buffer size setting are you using? To low buffer size can cause a crackling sounds due to your CPU having issues at too low settings.

Make sure you are using the USB Audio setting on the Heat and not the Overbridge setting.

Hey, thanks for your feedback! If I set the Heat to USB Audio / MIDI, Ableton does not recognize the Heat in the settings. Only when I put it on overbridge can I set it up. The buffer size is 512.

I had the buffer size set to 128 and now set it to 512, maybe it was that and it works now …

If it works now I can guarantee you that too low buffer size was the problem.
