Analog rytm and Boss SL-20 SLICER

Hi there ive just gone from octa and digitakt to analog rytm mk2.
Im building a setup that incorporates my other love…guitar pedals!!!
I was looking at suitable compsnions for the rytm and things that could bring something to a performance with this already awesome box!!!
I stumbled on the Boss sl-20 slicer pedal!!! This to me looks mental! Then i saw it has midi input to take external clock!!! Surely this must be an awesome bit of kit to go with a drum machine…anyone using one and if so big question is how does the midi clock hold up?

Just bought one of these (SL-20) last week. I really really like it. It takes midi clock from my octatrack as does everything else in my setup so it’s real easy to just do a beat and start playing (perfectly sliced) chords on top of that. I think it’ll become my secret weapon. The midi sync is perfectly tight, no complaints.

It’s a shame there’s no way to program the slice patterns, but there’s 50 to choose from and the ability to make the foot pedal momentary helps a lot. You can do weird/cool sounding stuff with this thing.
