Any tips on feedback loops with the cue outs?

I’m having a blast controlling an H9 from the OT with MIDI and cue outs. I found that sending the H9 signal back into itself can make some really nice drones and stuff but it gets really messy quickly.

However sometimes I would like to summon Cthulhu  Are there any tricks for making a controllable feedback loop like this? I would like to be able to program it in rather than tweak the cue manually.

OT, midi control, H9, feedback looping… i am actually surprised @sezare56 didn’t reply yet

I am interested in this as well. Is there a risk of damage to the preamps?

Put a compressor acting as a limiter at an appropriate spot in your OT chain.

Yes I did already try that although not much as I didn’t want to break anything, I guess I’ve got to figure out how loud it actually goes so I can feed the OT to suit.

Thanks for the tip! I’m new to pedals so its all trial and error at the mo

Also don’t forget that you can do feedback with a recorder. Use a flex machine to play a recorder buffer with source = cue and turn up the cue level which introduces feedback.
