This was mostly done on digitakt, octatrack and op-1, vocals were done with a Roland VT-4. No harmonies though, but I’d say it’s a weird attempt at making a pop record with elektron machines.
It was mostly inspired by what animal collective were doing at the time of their painting with album. Highly recommended if you want to get into weird pop music done with octatracks:
