I’ve been mentioning it a lot in other posts but I highly recommend the Empress Zoia.
It’s pretty much any effect plus a lot more.
And unlike most “multi-effect” pedals it sounds really good.
Here is a link to a ton of examples/patches https://patchstorage.com/platform/zoia/
yeah I’ve been thinking about the Zoia. That user interface looks confusing as hell though, and if it’s anything I’ve learned from buying modular, the moment I have to start digging through manuals for multi-functions (ie Disting mk4) it tends to be left untouched once I’ve had my initial play with it.
It can be a little daunting but folks on Zoia subreddit are very helpful.
The ability to make connections anywhere and multiple pages lets me build a simple user interface on the first page and essentially hide all the wacky stuff on the other pages.
It’s ridiculously fun imo but definitely a challenge
If it was a desktop or rack with a better/larger interface I’d be all over it as I love the granular stuff I’ve seen on youtube. It just might as well be some alien puzzle game though as those same videos leave me head scratching on what the hell they’re actually doing.
this is about as complex as I’d like to go with pedals
