I have a patch with an arp. It’s set to Tru, speed 6 and range 1. When I play a C, it plays fine. When I bump note 2 offset up, nothing happens. Am I missing something? It seems to only work in the sequencer, not when being triggered by a midi keyboard or the units own keyboard.
Patches don’t have ARPs - they’re part of the sequence. So to hear an ARP you program an ARP in the sequence and introduce more than one note per step using the additional notes 2>4 … to play the ARP in realtime (overriding the sequencer) you have to play multiple notes manually
The No2>4 are part of the track/seq not set offsets against single input notes
I see, so it doesn’t work the same as the Monomachine arp.
I just program a sequence and let it loop while I adjust the arp settings. Who wants to press keys by hand anyway when the robot can do it for you?
Best to try, I was just quoting from memory, I don’t have a MNM … but pre-programmed ARP motives are not possible … the incoming MIDI or onboard keys supersedes the sequencer (where the extra notes are stored)
