So in my efforts to streamline my setup I intend to use my iPhone Xr with Fieldscaper for stereo field recordings and noise samples. Originally I was going to route the audio (lightning-to-female 1/8” adapter) to a dedicated reverb pedal and to the mixer. Then it occurred to me that I could simplify things further if the reverb was just in iOS, running the two apps in serial using AUM or similar.
Are there creative high-quality reverb apps that you guys recommend? In hardware I tend towards dark modulated verbs usually, like the Midiverb II, Transmisser and Mercury 7.
I use any audiodamage plugins , aufx range , Kosmonaut , klevgrand apps …

I’m not sure aum will sync to external things , so you may need to set bpm manually depending how you arrange things.

Not an issue for me, since it’s the sort of drone-y stuff you want to be unsynced anyway.

I find Audio Damage Eos 2 †o sound pretty great. Has a nice UI and a good ‘superplate’ mode for really long reverbs.
Quite a cool shimmer one called ShimmerFX came out the other day if that’s your thing

Just reading about Eos2, sounds right up my alley. Anyone having issues with the latest OS?
Nah I am on the latest iOS and it seems fine. Not a heavy user really but had no glitches. It’s a great reverb, had fun making an ambient track just running a couple of instances of Zeeon (great synth) through it with a long Superplate verb, sounds great!

So yeah, Eos 2 is the real deal. You can tell Costello did the algos, totally has the Valhalla sound to it.
Really like the difference between the hall and plates… if things get too muddy with the dry signal switching to Plate 2 usually makes it work with the same sense of space without reducing the wet/dry mix.
Is that for iOS?
