We had a funny experience with a hummingbird in the mountains in Pennsylvania a few years ago. We were outside on our way down to the river to fish and our son was dive bombed multiple times by a little green hummingbird. Apparently the bird did not like that our son, with his bright green shirt, was walking through his territory. That was the day that we learned how hummingbirds are so territorial they’ll fight other, much larger species.
