So I went through the manual and made sure I set up MIDI to send PRG CH Receive on the A4 and A4 will not change its patterns when I switch them on the Rytm.
Does anyone know if this works or not? I haven’t tried the A4 as the master.
can you verify first that prog change messages are successfully being sent from the machine? ie. check with a midi monitor etc. If they’re really getting transmitted, then I guess you could try reversing the roles…
set auto channel to the same channel (i use 14)
Auto channel switched to 14 did the trick!! Couldn’t find that in the manual. Thanks for the help.
