The zippers are a bit shit but hey its cheap as and I fixed mine with a pair of pliers.

Happy Thomann Producer Backpack user here.
I use it for the A4 and OT.
First I didn’t have the protective cover. It’s ok without cover as well, because the inside of the backpack is soft, well isolated.
But felt insecure, so I bought the protective covers for the A4 and OT.
Now it’s perfect.
No way you can fit 3 Electrons in this backpack…

I have something like this. It is one of the 3i-20xx something model number.
I was able to hold two Elektrons with a Shruthi, 1U rack compressor, and all the cables. Not expensive and quite solid.
It would be a whole lot cooler if I could fit my mini mixer (Older Behringer 1002B) in there though.
Bags are nice until they fall.
i think i buy both the thomann and pelican!
and have the thomann as hand luggage.
good idea to have some holding your hand luggage when checking in so not avoid overveight

I’ve recently picked up a MNM to use with my MD mk1 and OT which means I’m now in the market for a bag / case that fits all 3.
The curveball is that I’ve just been booked for Soundwave Festival in Croatia this summer and ideally want to take them on a plane as carry on.
It looks like the maximum hand luggage size (for example) for Ryanair = (H)55cm x (W) 20cm X (D)40cm
Now I’ve looked up the measurements for my kit:
OT = (H)34cm × (W)18.1cm × (D)6.3cm
MNM = (H)34cm × (W) 18.1cm × (D)6.3cm
MD mk1= (H)34cm × (W) 18.1cm × (D)7.7cm
So the inside of the box needs to be at least (H)35cm x (W) 19cm X (D)21.cm but the outer dimensions need to be smaller than the hand luggage limitations.
Can any of you advise? I have the Thomann backpack already but that isn’t going to fit all 3 and I’m wary of sticking any of them in hold luggage 
I have the thomann backpack producer but i don’t feel like throwing my A4 just like that !
Feels like it needs that Plastic top cover.
My buttons on the A4 seem very fragile, i bet one hit would damage the whole thing…
Any good alternative to that 55 euros plastic cover? Considering the thomann bag is only 29

just thought i’d say i picked up this Antler cabin baggage for cheap.
in the main compartment it fits 2 elektrons with lids.
surprisingly, it also fits a push 2, and comes with a pull out carry case that slides into the main bag - i Imagine for 15" laptops or equivalent.
the carry case actually snugly fits over the push 2…
great bag if you are after a more wheel / airport situation

I just want to throw in a tip on a backpack that carries 2 pieces of Elektron gear and cables headphones and also a laptop.

Perfectly fits my octatrack and Analog 4 with their plastic top covers(not a keys tho of course) and a small towel or piece of cloth in between to not break the plastic of the covers if it gets bumpy.

I just picked up this Thule backpack in the Istanbul Ataturk Airport duty-free the other day…

It will hold 3 Elektron tabletop instruments with PL-2 covers, in 3 separate compartments.
With just enough room for an iPad, all needed power supplies, and TRS/Midi cables. This is very full, and nearly 20lbs, but it works.
•Alternatively, it can fit the Roland TR-8 w/ Decksaver + 2 Elektrons w/ PL-2s.
I’m using it for a single Elektron instrument w/ PL-2, a 1/2 rack compressor, a Nord Drum 1, two FX pedals, TRS/Midi cables, and a change of clothes.
When not full to the brim, it is small enough to be considered “personal item” size for airlines (you usually get at least one carry on and one personal item) And that’s why I bought it, as I can also carry on my HPRC 2550w hard case (similar to Pelican 1510) with 3 more Elektron instruments, a FaderMaster Pro, and their PSUs. It’s a load of gear between two bags that I can safely carry onto a plane.

Mono bags are definitely worth the price, though that price is not always accessible for some.

It looks pretty cool - going by the dimensions it looks like you might be able to fit 2 Elektron machines in vertically in the clothing section… maybe even a laptop and other things in the other side.
I like that its a hardcase, got a rugged handle and a lock and little compartment for iPad and stuff. Kinda pricey tho. But actually high quality I would say. And yeah the Mono stuff is too (I have the Flyby).
There’s a Crumpler store near me… when I get my units and actually after I get a couple of the protective lids, I’ll go down for a bit of a test sesh.

I totally agree with the Mono bag - I’ve had mine for years - and used it on travels all over the world - never had a single problem in airports.
It even has those nice side-pockets for my OP-1 and Akai LPK25 - and small pockets for download cards or the like.

I want to get this bag to move around with them for gigs and jamming:
The question: Should I get the decksavers as well? Or is it unnecessary?
I might as well combine the shipping if I’m getting the bag from there anyway, but if I don’t need them, I won’t get them.
