Cenk’s greatest hits

Somehow missed this one until just now (in spite of Googling every damn thing about Elektron I could think of).

Superb. Now, your turn.

That photo reminds me how loved he is amongst the press. When he showed up in videos, everyone seemed to really enjoy his presense. What a loss.

My favorite moment was when he was showing off the Heat to Batt and he made a small adjustment on a parameter and they both just lost it. edit: find it below

To add a bit of balance , I remember the big presentation of digitakt on sonic state where they make a big effort to avoid using midi on the digitakt because it would have fallen over and crashed / locked up / barely functioned.
I bought one … felt slightly cheated and waited for firmware updates …(this would’ve been cenk in salesman mode so I understand why )

But yes , he’s done a lot of good music sessions using lots of electron gear and I wish him luck.

This is my favourite of all times:

1% of the views of this video will be me

I’ve watched this one a lot and linked it to a few people, really shows off what the DN can do. Amazing creativity.

Remembering back the first time I saw this one, and I loved how, even though I don’t make downtempo stuff like this, the starting from scratch + molding of the sounds really helped me to see the capabilities of the instrument (and that lovely dusty sound!) in a relatively short period of time.
