Hi all,
Have searched google (using site:elektronauts.com to focus just on this site, as the 'nauts.com search function isn’t great I’ve found) but haven’t found the right answer so thought I’d post a question out.
I’ve made a loop using all 8 audio tracks for a song. They are all currently in pattern A01 - and I would prefer to keep everything in one pattern and use the arranger row mutes to decide which parts will play at each stage.
Is it possible to chain rows 000-001 in the arranger?
I understand that you can chain patterns, however as track mutes are global, I can’t achieve the same result as if I mute T1 in pattern A01, it also mutes T1 in pattern A02 + I would prefer to keep all in the same pattern so as I make changes to tracks and the pattern it is all together in one pattern.
Also is it possible to copy + paste rows in the arranger?
Does LOOP do what you want?
What happens when you try copying and pasting?

Hi Peter,
Thanks for your reply, Peter. LOOP may well do it, however where is the LOOP function in the arranger?
Figured out arrangement copy and paste - I was in the in the root menu of the arranger, rather than the edit section of the arranger. (Seems obvious now ha)
To copy (for anyone reading this at a later date and also struggling with the same thing) press FN + Pattern (Arranger) to enter the arranger, then press FN + Bank (Edit) followed by Yes on the ‘Edit’ option to enter the edit window of the arranger. Within this menu you can copy and paste rows

I could cut and paste the text from the manual, but I suggest that it would be better if you go through and read it (the section on the Arranger is only four pages), because it will be quicker than searching unorganized forum threads and you will also discover other useful knowledge by flipping through other sections.
In this case, pages 107 to 110 will tell you all you need to know.

Thanks, Peter. I had read that part of the manual, but neglected to remember the LOOP part. Thanks for the reminder…
