lol I already bled all the oils out of mine by baking them to release the chainsmoker smell and my fucking front of the house smelled like Las Vegas for 2 days but I got all the smoker tar to come out and scrubbed it off then neutralized the remaining odor with white vinegar/water. Really impoved the smell but nothing made the pads look better. Ronald mcdonald orange.
Anyways thanks again, I’ll watch some videos and maybe I can go for the one shade lighter like a crest white strips stage 1 kinda deal.

I believe you can still buy new silicon buttons from Korg, at least you could a few years back, might be worth a try?

BUT … up arrow got wedged, so I have to re-open the thing for the third time (three layers of screws, yay). But still, really pleased with the result - some stuff I couldn’t fix, like cutoff pot is almost destroyed (why didn’t they use bolts for these!?) and some permanent worn out marks here and there.
