Am I missing something? Plugged the midi keyboard CME M-Key via midi out to A4 midi In. Powering the keyboard with USB from computer. And has recieve notes set in A4. But still it cant play notes at all.

Did you match the midi-channel of your cme to the midi-channel of the ‘performance channel’?
Is there any setting in the cme that switches the midi out port in function? I mean by this that a lot of USB midi controllers let you choose if you want to use the midi out port for signals coming from your computer OR use it for sending midi from the controller itself.
