I’m about to take a covid test in advance of travel tomorrow, and if I’m being honest I kinda hope I get a mild breakthrough and am forced to stay home rather than be forced to deal with xmas travel bullshit

My plans scuttled by a negative result, now my in-laws can come!
ok well just make sure you take a test just before you travel! i was negative yesterday, then positive today (two hours before my train…)

Had a scare over the weekend. All the symptoms, but loads of negative tests, so just a cold. Better now though, which is lucky, given that we’re the knobheads doing most of the hosting this year.
Assuming I’ll get a dose of the Omicron some time over the festive period, as will just about everyone else, I suppose.
