Cross-track trig conditions

Hi! I wasn’t able to find a post with a question like this.
Closest was the choke groups topic, but there was no conclusive answer (afaics)…

So.

Is there any way to make different two tracks “talk” to each other? For example - if a trig on track 2 is not played due to a, say, 90% chance of it not playing, a trig on track 3 plays at a 100% chance.

Basically, that’s an “if not this, than that” kinda logic, but at the same time it opens up a possibility of “if this, than that” logic, thus making it not just a choking instrument.

Is there a way of making it work like this, at least on sample tracks.

Hope my question is not to similar to the choke thread.

Cheers!

Have a read up on the NEI and !NEI conditions. These interact with the previous neighboring tracks evaluated condition I believe

From the manual

“NEI is true if the most recently evaluated note condition on the neighbor track was true. The neighbor track is the track before the one being edited. For example, the neighbor track of track 4 is track 3. If no conditions exist on the neighbor track, the condition is false and no sound is played…”

This may be what you are looking for. Seems like what you are asking about is possible.
