Current sounds coming from your gear (Part 2)

Thanks for leaving this encouraging note. Sometimes it’s challenging to accept this very raw simplicity, stop tweaking and leave things as they are.

And yet that’s regularly what makes a piece full of fresh energy.

Nice one!

I’m in a dilemma about the Take 5. I can swap my Rev2 for a Take 5.

I only tried the Rev 2 in a shop, so I can’t really say much here.
Take 5 is my best synth so far, but my only other analog poly is the A4. Until I order a nymphes this week :grimacing:

My decision is made, I’ll swap the Rev2 for a Take 5. I really dig the Sound of the Take 5 and I will add a decent Keybed to my rig (Rev2 is desktop).

Hot damn there’s some heat in here. I remember thinking when going through the original thread, and I’m thinking the same now - I would so listen to elektronauts current sounds radio. If only there was some way of automating a download of everything put up and then streamed into a continuous mix with a second or so fade between tracks that would be :fire::fire:

Yo! This is a fun sketch…

Testing OBS setup. This is encoded so prolly some artifacts.

Squier 70’s Classic Vibe > Tone King

Super short test :upside_down_face: Somehow got this down to 7MB? Wild.

M4V (should work on everything… EDIT apparently not iOS? Weird):

Safari? Might be a Webkit thing if that’s the case. Bummer. Well now we know what the limitations of raw video are on this thread. I’ll make sure to record audio separately next time if I ever choose to post a non streaming link.

I’ll stick to mp3s :upside_down_face:

I’m sure if I just rename it to .mov it’ll work but then it won’t work for everyone else heh…

Fractal bits?

No sound for me on Safari either, but fortunately I always read Elektronauts on Firefox (macOS), and it is working fine there. Quite annoying, though, isn’t it?

Yea must be Webkit then (same engine for Safari on Mac/and all browsers iOS). Thank you for confirming!

Firefox gang represent!
