Current sounds coming from your gear (Part 2)

This is really cool. Beefy bass, great drum sounds. Really fun!

Couple of textural samples, bunch of random lfos on eq, filter and sample start and the OT does the rest :+1: Oh, and the first time I used ā€˜not preā€™ I think.

Still toying around with the Hydra Explorer, but Iā€™m surprised at how deep you can go with this little synth. Starting to think it might be the best $499 (plus taxes), Iā€™ve spent on a synth.
To give you an audible sense of the power of the mod matrix this was made with 17 of the available 32 sends. Mostly the 5 Lfoā€™s doing the work here. I just set one of the envelops at a really long release and tap the key. Iā€™m pretty sure it would continue to play till the end of time had I not switched sounds. Cool.

Haha, upon another listen, Iā€™ve concluded that the 20 second blip doesnā€™t really reveal anything. Youā€™ll just have to trust me when I tell you that it sounds really cool when you sit and listen to evolve over the course of a few minutes.

The interesting thing I find with transitions in your own tracks, is they generally are a lot more abrupt & obvious to your own ears than they are others. In short I didnā€™t notice them too much

Abrupt is a kind of transition. Nice work with the ST!

Itā€™s like putting the feeling of eating aluminum foil to audio.

I have some old-school metal fillings, so this feeling is for me literally an electric jolt. Some desserts from my ancestral homeland are covered in a thin sheet of silver leaf (vark). Sheer torture.

Did the above sound demo give you flashbacks?

Thanks!

Yeah, it must be when you know itā€™s coming or something like that.

Not painful enough. For which I am grateful!

Here is a track I made to announce a continuation of the Drum and Bass battles.

All are welcome!

Threw this together this evening. SH-4d on bass, background pads, misc percussion. Typhon on the pluck, sequenced by MPC. Drumbreak sequenced on the DT. Itā€™s very rough but I think this has the bones to become a full track. The percussion will def need to be cleaned up, but I wanted to see what happened if I mashed it all together (and Iā€™m being lazy).
