new one, simple is sometimes more effective imho
This is my most recent entry of digitone 16 bit chiptune compositions. I frequently max out the pattern memory with all the sound locks (abusing the arp, especially). The digitone is also sending midi messages to a maxmsp patch, which sends the visuals to my TV. Enjoy!
wowsers, so cool
A try with Digitone and Bitwig. One pad and lead sound from Bitwig and the rest DN.
I am a little unsure if I like the Overbridge workflow but I will try some more as there are a lot of things to try.
Cheers!
Neutron and other things
DN/BIM
Itās ghastly. And I mean that in the best way.
This eveningās sketch on the SH-4d and Digitakt.
Lyra through Typhon. Filters and Cloud. tiny little blurb.
A couple of Jamuary jams fleshed out into a full track on the Model:Cycles.
Break beats with OT and Perfourmer.
Using the OP-Z to sequence it allā¦ using OP-Z track scale to juggle between half-time and double-time on the fly, really cool imo.
Tr06/td3/A4/opsix
AR + MNM + PLG
sequencing helped by QY700 for the first half, second half is mostly improv on PLG keys and AR
still trying to figure out a nice personal workflow where I can sequence elektron patterns into songs. It has many many flaws, obviously for such an outdated device, but I canāt imagine any sequencer doing it better than QY700. (except maybe cirklon, maybe I will get to try one in some years)(I think I might give pyramid another try, but I really miss having song vertical list of midi events)
Iāve been working on this track on my free time for weeks now, it drove me nuts for a while, itās chord progression getting stuck in my head at night doing itās earworm nightmarish duties. Too many weird elements/experiments, getting out of my comfort zone for mixing and arranging. Some appreciation words would mean a lot here since this is a 'nauts exclusive
I enjoyed listening to that, great tight drum sounds and I like how the second half takes it to an another , dreamier, dimension, these were my first impressions anyhow, time well spent fwiw
OT, guitar, op-1f (mellotron sample and radio snippets)
and I know it needs a bassline. Maybe forthcoming.
I love it! FMing the PERfourMER sounds really good, isnāt it?
needed to hear that. I know I love my time in the studio but itās as if in times of tiredness one needs a reminder.
For the beats Iāve been taking a lot of inspiration from @tladb 's great thread conditional breakbeats
@jing_cenric very interesting m:c track youāve got there! I love those types of sounds and note slides
