Cyclone Analogic TT-303 Quality

I’ve always eyed the Cyclone Analogic TT-303 MKII, but am unsure about the build quality. Can anyone chime in as to whether it can handle extensive use as well as the abuse of being on the road?

I have had one for a few years now, no issues at all, but only been used indoors, seems fairly robust though - as far as is reasonable to expect of a plastic build. It has squishy rubber buttons which seem more reliable than the tactile buttons normally used, the knobs have a plate between them and the pots to minimise sideways force from wearing the contacts, it also has a dust cover.

It hasn’t been used properly until you’ve done acid up a mountain absailing down a rock face at 1000’s of feet.
With carefully placed nonsense to make sure it has nice composition.

On my bucket list.

visually looks a bit like a pencil case imo but the build is good. I agree the squishy buttons are quite nice to use.

Pencil Case! Totally.

:joy: :+1: :pencil2:

I’d own two, never had any problem with my TT-303 mk1 but I had to return a few TT-606s and since Cyclone appears to be a one-person shop they have basically no contact with their distributors for support questions or feedback.

Fun products but crazymaking when something goes awry.

Oh no, my abs are not chiseled enough for that :frowning:

No issues here. I’m very happy with mine for the price.

I’ve had one for a few years, and I have not had any issues. Also, it includes a deck saver, which is cool, which will help protect it.

Question for anyone with a tt303. Does the process on page 15 of the manual work for you - pattern merge? It says you can choose up to 4 consecutive patterns and copy and paste them to a single pattern with them merged. This is in pattern write. No matter how many bars I choose before copy, I always only paste the first bar.
