so if I understand correctly, when routing the audio out of the A4, into the rytm, I would hear the A4 with delay and reverb right? or dry?

the audio signal that goes into the AR will hit the compressor only, without going into AR FX section; unless you mean delay and reverb on the A4, in which case, yes. check the AR manual to see how the signal path looks like or else search here on the forum, you’ll find plenty information about this
