Delay that can't be turned off

My first post… I bought an Analog Keys about a month ago and I’ve come across something that I just can’t figure out.

On certain presets there is a delay that I cannot remove. One such preset is “Edgar” which is one of the first presets when you spin the big wheel. Another is “Poly Bell”.

All the effects sends in the AMP page are at “off.”
Every LFO and ENV destination is set to no destination.
Every single Performance knob is set to “Meta” or off.
The Chorus effect is not feeding it’s output to the Delay.

The next neighbor track is not taking the track as an input. Other tracks don’t have the delay problem, btw. But if I copy the problem sound to a new track, the new track’s delay also cannot be turned off.

Am I missing any possible path to the Delay effect?

The machine is on OS 1.36B. Before it was on 1.23 (I think). The update made no difference. I’ve done a factory reset.

This behavior is not there on all presets with delay, nor does it ever happen when I make my own patches from scratch. But sometimes I like to modify existing presets, and for the life of me I can’t figure this out.

I’ve searched the archives here and seen a couple of other threads, but haven’t found a solution yet.

Performance macros?

No, that’s what I meant by “performance knobs.” They’re all turned off. I went through all ten knobs to make sure.

Soundlocks in the partern?
In that case you have to use Perf Macros to reduce the delay…or plock the soundlocks.

Maybe the delay send is modulated by the velocity or aftertouch ?

Totally, that’s it!

The Delay send was modulated by the velocity. The Analog Keys can be rather complicated, as I’m finding out.

Thanks for all the suggestions!
