HOW do I do this? I tried holding the function key down while booting up, then hitting 2 for an empty reset and then loaded it up into over bridge, but it really freaked out on me. When I played across the keyboard, it only played one pitch the entire keyboard.
If you want a totally empty analog four:
1: switch on while pressing function
2: choose empty reset
After doing this your current project is empty. The +drive however still has data on it.
3: go to “global” then “system”
4: Select “format +drive”
5: “Are you sure?”–> press “Yes”
et voila: an empty A4
6: start making new sounds 
btw: if you’ve made changes to global settings (sync, midi channel etc) you have to redo them after this operation.
