End cheeks seem very popular here but i am looking for a easier solution, but still two or three tier on top of eachother. Does it exist? How do your setup on a desk look like?
I have ot, ar, a4.
Aside from the custom-builds where the Elektron device slots into a slanted âholderâ (i.e. without having to attach anything to the hardware with screws) thereâs this company that produce some pretty unique stands:
Personally, if I was going to have some sort of tiered system, Iâd be happier physically attaching the equipment to it, just for stability!
Not much help for you but along those lines
Years ago i was making adjustable stainless steel stands
that allowed same height and same angle with just about any
box type gear.
Is an astonishingly fun and fast way to use gear, here you can see
how they can level/angle different sized gear.
Very little interest at the time, but once youâve had a set up like that its hard to go back to the wonky angle up and down set ups most use.
Besides it looks so inviting imo.

Again, not tiered stands unfortunately, but hopefully food for thought.
I have it like this. Imagine you put the OT where the TB-3 is. That would stack them and also have a pleasent cording situation. I would imagine that the top unit would benefit from being slightly tilted up for reachability.
These shelves also slide in after use so minimal space is required when inactive. Also, the standard dust cover fits on the units.
Really interesting for me, did you built all yourself or found something already built?

It is already built, kind of. Its a combination of a 4U desktop rack and added rack mounted trays. I got everything from Thomann. Itâs kind of pricey but very robust.

This is the screw-less design I came up with but never realized as I use the same-ish cheeks as depicted only with screws. It was less parts = less cutting. Laser cut would be the best approach for this but I didnât find the time and energy to contact some local workshop company.
Btw, one Elektron box fits below nicely even with the lid.
I have one of these. Itâs quite sturdy and heavy. I donât have three elektrons but imagine the third sitting on the base.

Thanks for the links. Yep, pricey but well done as far as i can see.
Iâll consider for future.
Nice, i donât like so much the curvy shapes, but if you have laser cnc i can imagine that you can do them at any shape without so much effort.
Actually i did a double-device side panels in wood, bought panels in one of these big hardware stores and then cut as needed (got measures in another thread) myself with vertical saw.
Actually theyâre under wood painting, as soon as ready, and combined with my elektron boxes, iâll post some pictures.
so far havenât seen anything thatâs jumping out at me as most solutions look like theyâre fixed setups and require disassembly to remove a unitâŚwhy doesnât someone make one that has shelves or brackets that they sit on instead?
I use this

A4 on the stand and AR on the desk in front of itâŚ
Got nothing for you bro,
Just a tip.
Why not use acrylic instead of timber. Glues nicely, cuts nicely.
Ive made cheeks and am happy.
I dont gig though.
Not layered, but a cheap stand I thought Iâd share comes from the youtube instructions here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSyYEvkQO0Q)
and looks like this:
I bought two of these:
They are super cheap and will allow me to put my AR and A4 over my AK.
Is it sturdy and looks ok? You wouldnât happen to have a picture of it?
Edit: I googled around and found some images of it with Elektron machines. Looks perfect for my setup. Great tip!
Finished mine, wood sides for A4 and Rytm, simple multilayer wood finished with wood paint.
Got sizes and dimensions from another thread that i canât find right now.

I can vouch for the Rain stand because Iâve used with laptops before. itâs very sturdy and looks great, but is quite expensive for what it is
iâm currently using one of these:
