Lately, been spending time again with this particular pairing.
. Versatile and dirty analog engine
. Can play live and record on both the DT audio tracks and the CMS with my Keystep (Midi track A on the DT outputs to the CMS)
. Can map DT knobs to control CMS parameters
. Can switch patches on the fly and even patch-flip the CMS from the DT MIDI track.
. Can use the CMS for melodic content, fx drums, or whatever
. Syncing sample tracks with MIDI to the CMS Turns the DT into a poor man’s AR (sample + analog hits)
. Incredible source of new original samples for the DT
It really is a fantastic companion to the DT. I have a Digitone as well, which is arguably more versatile in many ways, and is in its own way an ideal DT companion…
But that dirty analog tho … 
Anyone else using a Circuit Mono as an extra analog track with their DT?
