Digitakt controlling my iPhone

So, I just connected my iPhone to the digitakt using a cck and usb. I was just messing around and curious to see if o could control the plethora of amazing Audio apps I have on iOS. And it actually works!!! So o guess that means the digitakt is a class compliant device!

This is so awesome! I’m already setting up multiple synth apps thru AUM and sequencing them with the digitakt.

I’m super excited about this. I’m imagining the possibilities of just a digitakt and an iphone(iPad).

Yeah! Digitakt + iOS is nice. Myself… I like Thor!

This is MIDI only, right? Imagine if you could send/receive audio also.
AUM is awesome but if you could sample iPad apps via AUM in to Digitakt, all down a single USB cable, it would be beyond cool.

What up Carl. Love your channel

Yeah it would be. … wonder if that’s doable over firmware.

Who’s it calling?

Doubt it since the Overbridge protocol (to stream audio over USB) is using hi-science-speciality-gothenburgian-drivers.

What about latency ?

Synchro is correct between audio of the digitakt vs AUM ?

It’s calling all my iOS synths.

I’m looking forward to Overbridge. Would love to get the music I make out of the dt.

Just record audio like it’s been done since ancient times.

I’m a jokester, I can’t help it… Bye the way @plusn, “D.T. Phone Home” :joy: classic…

I have an IPad and an OT, pretty similar.
There’s so much you can do it’s great. I think you’ll have tons of fun and be able to make all kinds of music with just that nice portable setup…

You’re right.

Yeah it’s pretty awesome.
I had a huge hardware set up for awhile but I had to sell a few things when my MacBook Pro died and I had to get a new one.
Anyway. What I have left now is dt, bass station2, circuit, and an rc505 looper. Also an iPad.
I’m currently setting it up to see if it’s fun to jam on.
