budget mate
Half the price, probably 10% of the wtfâsâŚ
â10% of the wtfâsâ?
Digitakt will probably only leave you going wtf about 1 out of every 10 times the OT doesâŚ
In a good way or bad way?
Probably bothâŚ
The elektron sequencer is special.
The workflow is itâs own too. As many times as Iâve tried to own a mpc it never connected with me.
Theyâre genuinely instruments and either they connect or they donât.
Also, size and limitations and some people claim to like little screens. (Theyâre lying )
The real question is : what had your question to do with the MPC in the first place?
Everything in itâs right place now
As pointed out, it was the advertising selling of equipment in the thread that was off topic Nothing more.
RYTM and DT are due to get sample librarian software in April ⌠so DT will also be midi SDS I guess. No mention of SDHC etc
Wups!
I must be projecting.
Iâm not sure what this means?
It means use C6 to SDS midi transfer samples to the DT, as is required for the RYTM.
However a new librarian software is expected to be released.
Cool, thanks for clarification.
Iâve only got the OT, so Iâm unfamiliar with OB other than reading a little on this forum and some vids by Cenk. Thus, Iâm not sure how librarian software would work for something like the DT, but I would hope that the DT wouldnât fuss with such a cumbersome way and just use computer drag and drop like the OT excepting an even more streamlined approach via OB.
Sorry.
toy? things like ipad apps are toys. dk is a hardware machine
If apps like Samplr/Mitosynth/Animoog etc are toys then toys rule. People donât care what you use to make music, they only care whether itâs good⌠I barely use my ipad for music but I donât see it as a toy when I do. Way more useful than an old Roland sound canvas for example. Were they toys?
i didnt put ipads down, or the apps. they are just more like the definition of a toy than a dk. i care if i see someone making music on an ipad - its irritating seeing someone swiping and touching a screen⌠the stigma attached to seeing little kids with their grimy fingers tapping out pathetic trap beats makes me feel quite ill actually. but then again seeing someone dressed in a cape with a pointy hat playing 7 moogs at once is also quite annoying. its all classed as toys really, as you play with them.
It is a bit odd watching Hieroglyphic Being playing out apparently on just a couple of ipads and a mixer (and sat down), but he absolutely destroys this set IMHO:
[Sorry for tangent.]
