I played this live set last Friday at work using only a Digitone, the intro is a song from my cellphone into the line in.

Hey,
It is just one digitone recorded with stereo outs. I then edit the recordings down to their shorter versions found on the releases. There will be small sections of a few seconds at a time when i’m doing the transitions

Some interesting sounds out of the Digitone! Old-school chords and acid lines. Bit of distortion in left channel. Nice set though

The signal from the DJ mixer into the laptop was too hot. The previous time I played it was worst though, some parts of the recording were rendered unusable because of clipping

Same here, very impressed. I’m exploring the possibility to build a live set with only Digitone+Heat. Maybe what it won’t deliver in terms of dense composition would compensate in variety of timbres and sound-manipulation. Will try to dissect your work and / or would really appreciate some insight into your approach. Cheers!

Some interesting stuff here, very creative sound design. Something I noticed is that everything on UGEN appears to be in mono, but that Mono/Aware is in stereo.
Good observation… Ugen is not a mono file but yeah, it has a very narrow field for sure. Interestingly, you are the first person to mention this
