damn, tasty ending
Good stuff Kraus!
Strictly live Digitone. No post processing besides mastering.
Thanks much the feedback can really tear apart those sine waves
This is fantastic. I didn’t know you could get these shredded sounds from the DN box
the “trick” here was to put the octave as far down as it goes, maybe all operators at .25/.50 and then messed with A & B levels, feedback, etc.
Absolutely LOVED this.
Thank you so much
That’s rad. Very kind of you to offer the recipe. Got to experiment with this soon!
Definitely! Lots of cool things to explore down there
Every thread I’ve been in tonight has had killer tracks from the community and this one is no exception. Sounds awesome. And yet another example of why I love the DN so much.
Thank you!
I agree about the general quality of tracks from this community
This whole EP is Digitone only. Recorded live with almost no overdubs – It’s basically my current live set. I designed all these sounds.
First single from an album exclusively made with Digitakt & Digitone, recorded live on tape straight from the outputs of Digitone. Tape saturation and warm distortion are taking care of the mastering levels. No added sugars needed Pure Techno.
Not DN + DT but DN + MDMKII
I see these two as brother and sister !
Play live, 8 patterns on DN and 2 on MDMKII. Strymon Blue Sky + El Capistan.
Rec on Tascam Model 24.
Even though there is other gear involved, this is technically Digitone only since all sounds are coming out of it. I have the Dreadbox Typhon on the right input and a Microkorg (off-camera) on the left. Then each output is being processed by different Fx, CooperFx generation Loss on one side, Hologram Microcosm on the other.
The Digitakt isn’t really doing much here, it’s sequencing the Digitone only because I was too lazy to change the setup, it could’ve been done without it.
