Just turned my AK on and almost certain that the display is way dimmer than normal 
from most angles it almost vanishes entirely and from optimum angle it’s kind of cloudy looking with the blacks looking kind of grey. Only had it a month… Ugh is there any way to increase contrast or something? Thanks.
i heard the A4 can be opened and there is a screw to adjust the level … my a4 also lost brightness if I put it next to a brand new one, or one that has not been used as intensely as I did mine.
Thanks. I’ll drop elektron an email and see if anything I can do here. Googled and seems like quite a lot of problems with Elektron screens Hoping it’s my mind playing tricks on me after using OT and Ipad just before, maybe just seemed dimmer in comparison, but I’m pretty sure I could clearly see the display from more than only one very narrow angle before and the blacks were nice and dark. I’ll check it out again in the morning…

Had the ak for a few years at least, then all of a sudden the screen looks really dim(after a weeks holiday)
I thought i could remember using a button combination to change the contrast , is there none?

Mine was packed and ready to be collected for repair but I cancelled it cos I need to use it on some stuff atm. Store was fine with me delaying the return. I left it on all day for 8 hours for a couple of days and it got a lot better. But then when I don’t use it a couple of days it fades again. Soon as I finish the music I’m working on its going back for repair…
