Disconnecting Tracks from Sequencer issue

Hi everyone,
I tried an experiment to help my workflow in a live setting by disconnecting the tracks from the sequencer and using the ONE2 option available in TRIG MODE. What I discovered is that when I trigger another pattern, tracks that have this option enabled will stop playing until they are retriggered manually.

Is there a way I can keep the track playing when I progress to a different pattern if I have this track disconnected from the sequencer?

What I wanted to do was to create a logical progression of patterns that would continue to play without interruption after I initially triggered them. For example, track 1 has a clap. Pattern A1 has a clap programmed on the 5 and 13. Pattern A2 has a clap on the 5, 11 and 13 etc. After I initially trigger this pattern using the trig key, I dont necessarily need it to shut off unless I want to do it manually (by pressing the trig keys again), for effect, variety, etc.

If the PlayFree Tracks stop playing when you go to another pattern, there could be different reasons:

• the PlayFree Tracks are not set to loop;
• the new Pattern has some/at least one trigger on the same tracks that, in this Pattern, are not set to PlayFree;
• the new Pattern has checked the option to StartSilent Track/s;

If more reasons come to mind I’ll update…meanwhile check those out!
