Not sure what “Full Voice” means in this context?

put in CV/gate and get an articulated note.

Initial thoughts: It looks very cool and not too bad a price for early birds (185 euros ex VAT)

Here’s a pic I grabbed from the site:

It s a single voice that has all of the modules to make it a standalone eurorack module or desktop synth. It’s more related to the eurorack side of things by saying “full voice” as you can just purchase ocs, mixers, vca, envelopes, filters (and everything else under the sun these days) individually which would not be considered a full voice but in the case you’ve got all of the standard building blocks in one unit.

It would be cool to hear it first. Good price!

Looks cool!

I’m going to guess it sounds pretty close to a single oscillator erebus.

Ha! The end of the manual:

Good luck! You will need it!
This manual was made by two Greek dyslectic persons and was corrected by an Italian.
Photos and color correction made by a colorblind person.

Looked pretty dang cool and like a fun project, actually really cool that there is a little midi cv converter in it. I have to say though, I hate the early bird marketing tactics.

 I assume they do it so they can get the most out of a single run of this but ehh. Only other critique I would have is with it being potentially going into someones eurorack case it is a bit of a shame to use almost 1/4 of the panel to display its name instead of more spread out controls maybe some full sized knobs or a small 4 step sequencer.

I still think it is cool but even as someone who is actively looking for some new DIY projects I think I am gonna skip it for now and cry later if I want to.

Two filters, ladder filter and multimode…hmmm… not sure if I‘ll get one, but this is so ->

“BUY NOW or Cry Later” lol… between this and their “smash the patriarchy” synth… it’s not a marketing department, it’s a headless duck. The cringe is strong.

3 vca’s, lots of patch points, a multiplier and a delay ? Sounds like lots of bang for the buck to me.

For the price, this is really tempting. There’s a lot packed into this package. It equals about $250 (USD) shipped. I had to dig into the manual to find that it’s 42 hp, and a depth that will fit into an Intellijel palette case. Gonna have a solid think on this today. If it’s available tomorrow, well – look out wallet!

Yeah, it certainly seems to pack a lot in, I also have an empty rack sitting on the shelf, but no sound demos, yet…

People seem to love the Dreadbox sound, though.

Went for it. That’s a lot of eurorack and synth for the money. Always wanted some of that dreadbox vibe as well. Plus, it will be nice crafting this together during Christmas. Sort of like Lego…

Before I got a Pulsar-23 I would be turned off by patch points. Now I’m like ‘oooh, that would interface nicely’.

I’m on the slippery slope.
