The Driven Machine Drums 3 + M.D. Bundle is the result of a 3-year effort, combining over $57,000 in synthesis and engineering technology. The goal was to create an inspiring and unique “go-to” library which generated stunning results quickly and with ease.

No Problem i’m happy for Nathaniel, a lot of work there and a special attention to Electron users in the package. You will not regret it and i don’t know if it will be the same like the older one only 1000 copies on sale (i mean legaly with license for the use of it) after what it’s ending.

How do the sample chains work?
How do you know where to set the sample start/stop?
Is it at specific intervals?
Can the chains also be used in RYTM as well as OT?
I own the Strikes Back and am thinking of getting this pack too!

The samples in a chain are spaced regularly. So you might have a 1 second bassdrum, 8 second crash and a 0.2 second hihat. But they all “take up” 8 seconds of the chain, because the spacing means that the slices line up correctly.

Edit: And oh yeah, basically you’d need to mod the chains a little for the Rytm, as the RYTM uses 120 instead of 128 for its sample start selection value. Don’t know why, but it does. So if you have a 64 sample chain, you’d want to truncate it by four samples.

EDIT EDIT: It does include Rytm-formatted samples, too (i think it’s 16/48, no chains though)
