Thank you very much!
very nicely done.
Thanks ipassenger!
Still makes me think iād prefer a second MnM over my OT.
Beautiful.
Great laid back track. I love it. Mnm is my favorite elektron piece.
For anyone who says that the Monomachine is cold and harsh, look no further than this track.
Using distortion on many of the machine types (FM, in particular) can yield some unexpected organic-sounding textures.
Try it on the FM and SID machines (especially with PWM) and tell me it doesnāt sound nice.
Is that what you did for some of the sounds, here?
Kudos on the drum programming, too.
Thanks again
@glitched: Iām not sure I remember what I did for the sounds, but I agree about distortion. Iām pretty sure it was on those ābeefierā bass notes. Adds quite a thinckness to it, or as you put it, āorganicā sounding. In fact, thatās probably the closest thing thatās sounded like my oberheim matrix 1000!
Ah, cool to see you on this Forums, been listening to your music since i had GAS on the specki .
Amazing stuff with those 2 monomachines !
Thanks whet!
Looks like itāll be a while before I can write anything else with these units. I managed to damage both of them when I put some machinescrews into the ear-rack holes.
Have you gotten a Speckie?
Thanks whet!

Really impressed with that! Is there anyway I could download and listen to it on the go etc?
Iām definitely going to give my MnM a go tonight. But Iāve always found a problem sequencing it melodically. Wish it had a Keyboard like the A4 and wouldnāt rely on P locks for note data
Thanks whet!

Oman, that sounds really bad, i hope you didnt damage the boards or something .
I was like a year after a specki2 at the right price. Its not easy to get them under 1k (got outbid @900 euro last sek on ebay 1 time, that was my chanceā¦) + they are kinda uncommon . In the end i decided to get an Octatrack first.
I donāt have it available for download quite yet. Sorry
You really donāt need a keyboard or p-locks to sequence the MnM melodically. You just hold down a step and then shift the little keyboard on the screen to the desired note. I think it works really well. You can also record real-time playing.
@whetā¦
Actually, the boards are damaged. Total crap fest over here.
I bet the octatrack was great, though. A shame you lost on that ebay bid!
hehe, sorry thatās what I meant. Just was frustrating for me. Much prefer the A4 way. But I might give it a second go!
You should
I recreated a nintendo song entirely using that method of sequencing:
stunning
The problem with guys like you is that youāre so brillant and re-activate our GAS.
Haha, sorry!
Thanks for the kind words though
Nice composition man.
I would love to hear even more complex beats and melodies. To be honest, that is the first time I watch a double MnM combo. Two units must be monstrous in terms of productivity - massive drums + other melodic stuff. We all know that FX machines are so cool but āeatā your tracks. Maybe 2 units is the ultimate combo. When it comes to the MnM, I am mad about it, as really do not understand why people do not spare time exploring it thoroughly.
Well, yeah, steep learning curve, as it has been already mentioned in a previous topic, but still very massive unit. Congrats for this combo, I am listening how youāre getting on with it and want to see/hear more! I am a MnM soloist and want to be a double MnM soloistā¦
That was AMAZING!
I had never seen that video, that was really a treat. Also the megaman one was top notch as well.
Did you ever fix them? I cant believe some mount screws messed up not one but two of themā¦
If you did fix them, what was the problem? Did the metal cause a short?
