EOWAVE MAGMA.. underrated?

I used to own an A4, and liked it a lot; but wasn’t able to get the type of more aggressive sounds that I wanted out of it so I eventually sold it. I ended up getting an Eowave Magma, and love how it sounds. I’m surprised I don’t hear more people talk about them. Does anybody else out there own one? Here a Soundcloud demo I found that shows a bit of its range.

lol… after they’ve been shrooming. Click the link on my second post, and listen to the bass & keys demos for more traditional sounds. I could never coax those types of sounds from the A4; but the A4 definitely had a wider sonic palette.

I tried one at the Messe a couple of years ago, but found the interface finicky. Admittedly I didn’t spend a lot of time on it, but I can’t say I clicked with it.

I’d agree with you; it’s definitely not as easy to program a melody compared to the A4. I also find it annoying being limited to 16 steps; but patterns can be chained… finicky is a good description.

Itried one too, a little time, and really enjoyed it, the sound can be really massive. I think about grab one used, i have to retest it, but it’s really welle builded, and the sequencer is really cool !

This is a pretty awesome demo.
