There is a Shuffle setting on my DB-01, it’s what they call swing. Not a knob, but a menu setting. It looks like a drum machine to me, but it’s by no means certain.

I think the thing under the big joystick is either a toggle switch or a fader switch for the A/B on the sequencer

Yes maybe but it’s a sequencer feature and not necessarily for drums only. So it could be an all purpose synth with a sequencer rather than a dedicated drum machine. A joystick is not often seen on drum machines I think. We’ll see.

I really have no idea what that bit’s even for. Patch cables for a non-patchable machine? Makes no sense. And it’s hella ugly to boot.
