There’s a thumbnail randomizer plugin that I use. It just pulls a random frame from the video to replace the assigned thumbnail. It still makes some ridiculous thumbnails if it catches someone talking on camera though.

Yeah, it still works, but it loses quite a few dB in volume and feels like it’s had a hi-cut applied to it.
Anyone been asked to pay up from Detroit Modular?

Did you plug the balanced plug all the way in? For me that gives a much brighter sound. The main out sounds like it has a hi cut applied 
damn. Hope I don’t have a faulty unit…
With the balanced jack all the way in, track three on the main output was quieter and muffled.
Didn’t listen to the separate output, that was just going to nowhere.

Ah hum. That’s also strange. Main output doesn’t change for me when I plug in a balanced cable to the individual out. Does sound a bit muffled though with and without 
Support hasn’t responded to me for more than a week now… Will make a new ticket.
Edit: not sure if it’s muffled actually. Will make another audio recording from main out with specific settings

I paid upfront with The Sound Parcel in PA. I’m allegedly #2 of 2 in their “first batch”.
The last time I communicated with them, they knew nothing about an ETA, but said that they’d let me know if they learned anything. I’ve yet to hear back and that was 30-45 days ago.

I like Divkid and he uses thumbnail faces. Is he taking the piss, or succumbed to You Tube algorithm optimisation?
Just tested. Same thing yeah. Slightly lower volume and a subtle difference in the highs. If you’d listen to the balanced out you’d hear a much brighter version with a low cut applied so it seems. Never saw this kind of behaviour before. Oh well.
edit: Aha, it also matters what kind of balanced cable apparently. Tried a different one and then the volume drop is huge. Weird I’ll stop with the research now and go back to making music.
