Every sound retriggs in new OS?

I hope you don’t mind me asking this here. Kind of related.

I just connected a Maschine controller to Rytm. When trying to play whatever pads indeed this problem occurs. But please tell me, when you press a pad softer or heavier on your external controller, does Rytm follow the velocity? In my case all “error retrigs” are the same velocity as the first one I played no matter how I change the pressure later on. If I try the same with Rytm’s pads all is normal, retrigs are changing their velocity when pressure is changing. Happens to you too?

velocity works fine here, is Maschine set to send out velocity as well as notes?

this is a bit embarrassing for us beta testers tbh - an obvious bug and so easy to find, if any of us just had tried to trigger notes from a midi device…

I would have thought you guys had preprogrammed testing MIDI sentences that you would launch to verify most of the parameters are behaving correctly !
Why do you guys do everything in manual (although some is needed of course) ?

retrigs use poly pressure - the “error retrigs” don’t need this to occur

it’s likely a bug that’s arisen on the back of implementing the retrig recording, just a minor omission, I’m sure there’ll be a quick fix because it’s so disruptive ( for the tiny percentage who trigger the AR externally )

Here is the response I got from an Elektron rep on FB. Didn’t help me but in case it may help anyone else.

Hi, do not downgrade - that is not advised.

The double triggering is happening most likely because you have MIDI Sync enabled to the MIDI Input of your Analog device from your DAW. It should always be disabled when using Overbridge.
