I have an OT MKII controlled with my external midi foot switch
The issue is that even if Im focused on T2 or T3 as pickup machines and press foot button assigned to D4 (62) or C#4 (61) recording ALWAYS starts at T1. But I want it to start on other T e.g. T2 OR T3 in my case.
What is the issue with mapping? All other mapped functions (start, restart, stop, track up-down, mute active track works good)
I’ve been using multiple pickup machines with a footswitch like that for a couple years and never had an issue. It’s been a while since I set it up, but I think the footswitch has to be sending on the auto channel (which you’d also want to make sure you enabled) to control the current track, otherwise it will always control the track that corresponds with the MIDI channel you’ve set it to send on, no matter which track is active.
I might be wrong about that, not in a position to check right now.
I also suppose it’s a midi channel problem. As @Supercolor_T-120 said controller’s midi channel have to be Auto Channel (11 by default), and I suppose with above settings it is set on channel 1, hence controlling Track 1 (set to channel 1 by default).
But for now I noticed one more weird behavior
When I click on stop (note 33), record starts BUT both with it dep3 parameter sets to 127 automatically. In manual I see that dep3 has same 33
There shouldn’t be any interference between note value 33 (sequencer stop) and CC 33 (LFO param 6 / depth 3). These are completely different midi messages.
